Rescue 3
Whitewater sports have been an essential part of our life for many years. Our passion for this sport has turned into a calling. Working as a raft guide, safety kayaker, and canyoning guide has allowed Us to explore the world. We have had the opportunity to live and work as a guide on five continents.
Therefore, We are particularly proud to be a training provider for Rescue 3 in the Salzburg region.
This role allows us to share our experiences as an athlete and guide and to promote the high safety standards in Whitewater Rescue set by Rescue 3 through courses.
Building on our background in white water operations, we transitioned into Swiftwater Rescue Teams in different Areas around the World.
It is our mission to make the Whitewater sport, which We love and is an important part of our lives, much safer for everyone

If rescue techniques in whitewater are new to you, whether you are a kayaker or rafter and you want to gain skills and abilities in this field, then this course is exactly the right one for you!
The course aims to teach basic safety and rescue skills required in a moderate whitewater environment, and covers the foundation skills used in all our water safety and rescue courses

Whitewater Rescue Technician Recreational (WRT-REC)

– 2 days (12 hours) – €320.
The WRT-REC course is for recreational paddlers who wish to have a rescue capability with experience in the whitewater environment
It doesn't matter if you are out in the whitewater with your friends or in your local club.This course is for anyone with prior experience who now wants to enhance their skills and abilities.
Whitewater professionals (e.g., raft guides, safety kayakers) should take the "Whitewater Rescue Technician – Professional" (WRT-PRO) course.

The aim of the Rescue 3 Europe Whitewater Rescue Technician – Professional course is a 3 Day course designed for professional river users, eg raft guides, safety kayakers, with existing river experience, to provide you with the necessary skills to perform rescues in whitewater river situations.
In this course, you will learn to work with the equipment you have on your trip, while a professional rescue team would handle the rescue in a very different way and different gear.

This four-day course builds on the Whitewater Rescue Technician – Professional course. It further develops your skills and is aimed at outdoor professionals working in demanding environments. The course focuses on practical solutions for rescue scenarios, high-angle access and egress, incident management, and the efficient use of safety equipment.

This course is also ideal for water rescue teams that are required to work in moving water, and need to be able to recognize dangers. This 4 day course gives the rescuer not only the skills to say out of danger but trains suitable techniques that enable them to rescue others in distress.
The course is certified by Rescue 3 Europe / International and meets NFPA standards.

The SRT A course builds on the skills learned in the SRT course. After a review of core techniques, we move on to operating in the river environment at night, including practical night search exercises. Technical rescue skills remain a key focus as participants learn how to extract victims from vertical environments such as steep-sided river gorges, bridges, and flood barriers.
The course is certified by Rescue 3Europe / International and meets NFPA standards.
