experienced paddlers, rafting guides,Packrafting , canoeists,  and canyoning guides, but also for professional rescuers wishing to train in stronger waters.

 Course Aims

We aim to increase every paddler’s awareness of the dangers inherent in the whitewater environment and how to avoid them. In addition, we work on improving self-rescue skills and providing paddlers with the experience needed to judge the seriousness of a rapid for themselves.

When traveling on the river with only limited rescue equipment, it is essential to be able to use it quickly and effectively in an emergency. Rescues in moving water can rapidly lead to dynamically demanding situations, where sound knowledge and well-practiced response strategies are required. Training takes place on and in the water,
